Everything is sign. So, I give in. On this Thankful Thursday, I share with you my (unofficial and unrelenting) theme song:

I'm thankful that I decided to give Joan Didion another shot. The Year of Magical Thinking is amazing.

I'm thankful that the dogs have started cuddling when they sleep.

I'm thankful for rejection letters that ask me to send more work.

I'm thankful that I managed to write a brand new short story. It has been far too long.

And since we're talking about songs, I'm thankful for Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls.
